Department members Tabby Calvert and Hank Krause are testing a new Task Force Tip nozzle that will go on Engine 1. It's a Mid-Matic series featuring flush without shutting down, molded rubber bumper with "power fog" teeth, detent flow control, "Gasket Grabber" inlet screen, and the exclusive TFT slide valve. This particular nozzle functions at a constant 100PSI, with a range of 70 to 200GPM. It packs a punch.. |
| New members Lisa Hamilton and Kelly Hoyt are taking inventory of adapters, nozzles and other items by way of becoming familiar with the attack trucks. Of course they had to get up the curve in the thread department with such things as NST, NPSH, NH and GHT. This is even more fun in the dark.
